John Shields

Vice President, Leasing

John Shields is Vice President, Leasing, at Epic Investment Services; he oversees our leasing activities across the GTA. With 30+ years of experience in office and industrial leasing, working for and with Toronto’s top brokerages, John leads our team of leasing professionals with a critical eye on attracting and retaining top-quality tenants. John has a great understanding of how to achieve operational goals and performance targets, achieving both owner and tenant satisfaction.

Before joining Epic, John served as Vice President, Leasing, Eastern Canada, at Dream Office REIT, where he was responsible for a 9.7 million sq. ft. portfolio spanning the GTA, Ottawa and Atlantic Canada. Before that, John held various roles at CBRE for over 20 years, including serving as Vice President and Managing Director, managing an office leasing team responsible for business planning, sales performance and growth strategies for the GTA West suburban office market.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo.

He is based in our Toronto office.
