Our Values
Our Story
Epic was originally formed in 2005 as Epic Realty Partners with one client, one asset and one employee. At the time, the company focused on property management services at an institutional level of standard.
Over the course of several years and with the formation of strategic partnerships, the company grew across Canada with offices in Calgary, Edmonton, Montreal and Ottawa.
In 2017, Epic merged with Alasco and StoneCap Realty Advisors to become Epic Investment Services – a national investment, asset and property manager.
Epic Investment Services was created to deliver on what our clients were seeking: practical innovative ways to build the value of every square foot, every property, across whole portfolios.
In 2019, Epic merged with MDC Group to create a North American real estate platform offering a complete range of services in addition to offering cross-border direct investing, fund investing and co-investing opportunities. Within its first year of operations under the newly formed entity, Epic launched its first US Multifamily Fund.
Today we operate as Epic Investment Services in Canada and as MDCRA in the US employing over 150 real estate professionals across North America.
Our heritage and combined history as investment managers, asset managers and property managers provides our clients with an advantage to commercial real estate investing.
