Vice President, Human Resources & Administration


Sheela is the Vice President, Human Resources and Administration at Epic Investment Services and is responsible for creating and executing on the talent acquisition and development strategy across North America. Sheela oversees the human resources, payroll, benefits, employee relations and administration functions ensuring our integrated business units are supported to work efficiently in creating short-and long term value for our clients.

As a strategic thinker, Sheela establishes policies and processes through human resources and administration that strengthen an organization and builds a solid foundation for growth. Throughout her career she has made an impact as a problem solver and a decision maker who effectively balances the needs of the people with the mission and values of the organization.

Sheela brings 20 years of experience within the real estate industry and her expertise includes: working with management to drive organizational and company-wide initiatives, cost benefit and compensation analysis, succession planning, and developing performance, training, and engagement programs.

  • She began her career in the accounting department after moving to Toronto with Caber Capital Inc., a commercial asset management and value-add real estate company in 2000.
  • Prior to joining Epic, she was with Strahallen Capital Corp. She joined Strathallen as a founding member in 2003 and since then, assumed various progressive roles over the years, with most recently as Director, Human Resources and Administration.

Sheela is based out of Epic’s corporate head office in Toronto.
