Lachlan MacQuarrie

Senior Vice President, Real Estate Management (National)

Lachlan MacQuarrie is Senior Vice President, Real Estate Management (National), at Epic Investment Services. Lachlan oversees the Canadian real estate management services team that integrates property management, operations, and leasing, together with national programs such as sustainability, innovation and national programs. Lachlan’s 20+ years of experience span investments, development and operational functions, and have been driven by a desire to develop globally competitive real estate assets that leverage new opportunities in innovation and integrate and support a variety of stakeholders.

Before taking his current role, Lachlan was Head of Platform Services at Oxford Properties, where he led Oxford’s global platforms in sustainability, smart buildings, safety and security, national procurement, technical operations, and customer service across a 45 million+ sq. ft. portfolio. Before this, Lachlan held progressive senior leadership roles, most recently as Vice President, Asset Management, at Giffels Management Limited and at IGRI Advisors Inc., where he was responsible for asset and property management including management and oversight of client portfolios / investments. He started his real estate career with Frastacky Associates Inc. as an analyst for a private fund and led key analysis, due diligence, funding and partnership structures for over 25 transactions.

Lachlan holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of New Brunswick, a Master of Planning degree from Queen’s University and a Master of Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He is a board member of GBCI Canada, the green body that certifies LEED buildings in Canada, and a board member of Yorktown Family Services.
